Arrangements and Compositions

Most of my work as a composer and arranger has been in the area of choral music, but I have also composed numerous art songs and a few “pop” songs, as well.

I have composed many choral works and solo songs for specific occasions, including: weddings, ordinations, anniversaries, graduations, grand openings and memorial services. 
In many cases, specific conductors, singers, churches, schools or choral ensembles have commissioned pieces for their special events.I have created tailor-made arrangements of great American standards (Gershwin, Kern, Berlin, Porter, etc.) for a number of singers who perform  in Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Palm Springs.  I always enjoy the challenge of creating a “chart” or a full arrangement (in whatever instrumentation or orchestration is required) which reflects and reveals the specific gifts and personality of the singer in question.
